A Dartmouth native, Norman began his legal career with articles at Landry McGillivray. In 1980 he was called to the Bar and became an associate with the firm. Norman has been a partner at Landry McGillivray since 1985.

Norman has a broad general practice with emphasis on residential and commercial real estate, corporate and commercial law, and personal injury litigation. He also oversees the firm’s wills, estates, and trusts practice group. Norman has appeared on behalf of Landry McGillivray’s clients at all levels of the Nova Scotia Courts and the Supreme Court of Canada.
